NEW: Yoshimura ends cans for Honda CB1000R

LEGENDARY JAPANESE tuning house Yoshimura has designed a series of slip-on performance end cans for Honda’s naked CB1000R.The brand new EEC-approved cans bolt straight onto the bike's exiting pipework and feature a stainless steel end cone and integral lower Yoshimura logoed cat-converter heat shield. Even with the dB-Killer baffle in place peak power is improved, as is mid-range torque with further performance gains available if the baffle is removed.A full race mid-pipe, extracting yet more power is on the way and will be available later in the year. A Feel Good Purchase

If you’re diggin’ the ’73 CB450 pictured above it’s currently for sale on eBay with nearly three days left in which to bid. The side benefit to purchasing this custom cafe classic is that 15 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the CB go to Wellspring International Outreach. Built by Hangar Cycleworks the vintage Honda boasts a rebuilt motor, a custom 2-into-1, high-mount exhaust system, Mikuni VM32 carburetors, a Dyno electronic ignition, power coated frame, swingarm, hubs, wheels, triple trees and motor mounts and custom color-matched Tyrolean Green Metallic paint among a scored of other niceties.

Alongside the most stunning collection of race and road bikes at their Motegi museum, next to some race bikes, Honda also has a step by step guide on most aspects of riding. I photographed the wonderful text on push starting but I also have lots of equally hilarious instructions on cornering braking and even what a riders goal should be.
