Honda CBR description
2013 Honda CBR1000RR, *SRP $14,400. Does not include $350 destination charge. The Essential SuperbikeIt s hard to improve on a machine that s already as good as Honda s incredible CBR1000RR. You can build a faster bike or one with more power, but probably nothing that combines power, handling, riding quality, and overall build quality to the degree this versatile open-class sportbike does. And that s a huge issue. Riders everywhere are rediscovering the fact that they want a motorcycle that sets high standards, but sets them in a balanced way. CBR riders have known that for decades. And they know another secret: a better balanced bike can actually be faster than one with just a lot of power. This year we re again offering the CBR1000RR in two versions, one with Combined Anti-Lock Braking System (C-ABS), the first ever on a production Superbike.

Rossi runs special Simoncelli tribute helmet
Sun, 06 Nov 2011During the 10 o'clock trial laps today, Valentino ran with a new helmet dedicated to his friend Marco Simoncelli. To demonstrate how much Valentino was affected by the tragedy that hit the Honda rider, Valentino's helmet will be divided in half: the front part of the AGV GP-Tech will be exactly like Marco Simoncelli's, with its red and white motif and ever present number 58, while the back will maintain the colours Valentino used throughout the 2011 season. Vale will use the helmet for all of Valencia's weekend.

Wed, 08 Sep 2010We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.
