Honda CBX description

Up for auction I have one exceptional and cool cbx1000. Stand out in a crowd of other cbx owners!  It looks, runs, shifts great, and everything works as it should with no issues. It's basically a mild cafe and what you get when you collaborate what's  better off a Honda cb1100f and use it on the already great Honda cbx1000. Better brakes, better wheels, and better suspension. It's a real hot rod or restomod. It's got a 6 into 1 exhaust with individual k&n air pods, and Dyna coils.,Corbin gun fighter seat, sportier handle bars. Koni rear shocks a mini fairing, and a cb1100f instrument cluster. The cluster shows 28xxx miles so I can't confirm what the actual miles are but the previous owner said it was allot less than what shows now. I know the engine sounds great and has no unusual noises. The rear brakes have been completely rebuilt with all new parts and pads. Front brakes are in great shape. The paint and body are really nice with no dings or dents. The left side panel has one broken tab but it's well secured with a zip tie to the frame.Note that there are reproductions of side panels for pretty cheap here on eBay. The tires are not weather checked and have good tread. The forks seals are good no leaks. The oil and filter along with new fluid in the the brakes are all fresh and just changed. It has all the original tools and pouch. I've owned the bike for about 1 year and haven't used it much just I mostly admire it. I should have probably taken it to some shows but it's time to let someone else appreciate this beauty and beast. I don't have the original parts that come off the bike just what you see is what I have. The bike comes with a clear CA title and is on non op status so no DMV back fees.  I have a very low starting bid of 100.00 and no reserve so have fun bidding!  Of course there is no implied warranties and if you bid you're entering a contract to buy so please make sure your funds and means to pick up the bike are in order.  Thanks for looking and good luck to all!

Honda CRF250L Confirmed for North America

Thu, 19 Apr 2012

American Honda and Honda Canada haven’t yet officially announced they will import the new Honda CRF250L, but the parent company has outed the dual-sport’s availability in North America. Honda has launched a new micro-site dedicated to the CRF250L describing its features including its CBR250R-derived engine. The section discussing the CRF250L’s muffler explicitly confirms an American and Canadian model, saying: “the model for the United States and Canada complies through additional settings for a spark arrestor.” The section on the CRF250L’s engine also confirms the dual-sport will be CARB-compliant, stating: “the power unit for the U.S.

Stoner Tops Time Sheets as Honda MotoGP Testing Resumes

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

Missing a day of testing didn’t appear to have a negative effect on Honda riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa. After missing the second day of testing because of a potential engine problem, the Repsol Honda riders were back on the track for Day 3 where they regained the top two spots on the time sheets. Honda held back Stoner and Pedrosa as well as satellite team riders Alvaro Bautista and Stefan Bradl yesterday to investigate an engine warning light that lit up on the dash of Pedrosa’s RC213V on Day 1.
