Honda CBX description

One of a kind custom CBX. This bike was built for me several years ago by TIM's CBX. Polished single sided swing-arm from Honda Hawk GT, Ohlin's shock, Honda VFR forks with Race Tech Gold Valves and springs, Custom Honda VTR yellow paint. Silver powder coated frame. The motor is a 1981 school bike motor with just over 1000miles precision re-built by Preston Marks - big bore, ported polished head, Falicon knife rods, '79 cams, CR race carbs and Earls oil cooler. All covers chromed or polished. Lots of other details like Harley bullet signal lights, Fat superbike bar and lots of upgrade parts from TIM's catalog like ignition/starter/alternator.

Also selling with the bike as a package as is another complete 1981 zero mile "school bike" motor plus a perfect NOS fuel tank with cap and badges, an NOS rear cowl from 1980 and an NOS seat, all like new. I don't want to part with the extras separately as if I don't sell the bike, would keep the parts.

This was a very expensive build and with the extra motor and NOS parts, quite the deal for a CBX fan.
(for those wondering about the serial number, it is an "Alberta Assigned VIN" for Alberta, Canada as the original VIN tag was removed during built and powder coat and was only stuck back on, not glued and came off on a ride. This is a service offered in several provinces and is quite the process as all the paperwork has to be in order which it was and is.)

Isle of Man TT 2014: Dainese Superbike TT Results

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

Michael Dunlop won a historic Dainese Superbike race to kick off the 2014 Isle of Man TT week. Riding the S1000RR, Dunlop secured BMW its first win on the Isle of Man since Georg Meier won on a Type 255 Kompressor in 1939. After catching early leader James Hillier of the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team on the opening lap, Dunlop continued to set an impressive first lap time of 17:11.107, which translates to a record average speed of 131.730 mph on the 37.73-mile Mountain Course.

What’s the deal with all those Pink Motorcycles?

Picture a Motorcycle in your mind, any Motorcycle. It could be one you own, want to own, one you’ve seen. Can you picture it?  What Brand is it?  What Model, year, how fast does it go?  You can probably picture each of these elements vividly.
