Honda CT description

1966 Honda KO CT90 trail Motorcycle with 2,105 miles. Runs & looks great, starts on first kick, hard to find in this original condition. I bought from original owner 12 years ago & only put a few miles on it since. Has original owner's manual & key.Last week I installed new clutch friction plates, old plates were coming apart. Installed a new battery a few years ago, no other work has been done to bike, all original. Rubber speedo cable guide on fender is cracking (see pic) & front fender has been repaired (looks like bondo repair at top. Seat has some tears at seams, grips have some tears on ends. Paint has some scratches & worn spots on forks otherwise nice paint & chrome, no rust. Newer tires installed a few years ago. Very nice 50 year old bike. Title is clear & in my name, on non op.

US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .

Spanish oil company and noted motorcycle racing sponsor Repsol recently gathered its cadre of riders from MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and the Spanish CEV championship for a special race – on electric minimotos. Honda MotoGP riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa were joined by Moto2 racer Marc Marquez, his brother Alex Marquez and his fellow Moto3 racers Miguel Oliveira and Alex Rins and CEV racer Maria Herrera in the minimoto race. Hijinks ensued as racers grappled for position in the low-speed race.

Despite losing the World Supersport title last year to a hard-charging Sam Lowes, Mahi Racing Team India’s Kenan Sofuoglu, aboard his Kawasaki ZX-6R, hasn’t lost any of the pace that has made him the overwhelming favorite heading into 2014. He topped the timesheets on the first day of testing at Phillip Island, setting a time of 1:33.521, putting him at near lap-record pace. Second on the day was Dutchman Michael van der Mark, aboard the Pata Honda CBR600RR.
