Honda CT description

Here is an original 1969 Honda CT70 Silver tag with 308 original documented miles and comes with a California title.  It has not been restored or molested. From what I understand the silver tag was only produced for three weeks before Honda started mass producing the CT70. They ran only a limited production of the early silver tags. This bike has been in Califirnia it's entire life and has no rust at all except for a couple small spots on the wheels. Frame and motor are completely rust free. I bought this from the original owner that bought it for hunting trips back in 1969. He used it a few years and parked it in his garage and it's been there for it's entire life. He has passed away and I bought it from his wife. A bike like this is worth far more than one that's been restored and had parts replaced that are not silver tag original parts. Do your homework and have a close look at the he pics, they speak for themselves. Finding a original silver tag in this condition, that's basically new with 308 miles is a very very rare item. There is some normal patina on the engine and some minor scratches here and there but the paint still shines like new and the scratched are minor. The only thing I replaced on this is the headlight bucket. The original had a Minor crack so I replaced it with a OEM Honda bucket..The original will come with the bike. I took a lot of close up pics and they'll show all the detail. It appears that the chain has never even tightened on the bike!  The paint by the chain adjuster is still mint and it appears that the chain is still set from the factory in 1969. Every original silver tag part is still on this bike. It even still has the solid Honda passenger pegs which 99 % of the people took off and threw away back then! It has All the correct welded chain guard mount, Phillips screws that hold it on, front fender with the lip, skinny handle bar knobs, stub end exhaust, tool kit holder under the seat that's screwed on, tail light wire hole going through the top of the frame, black horn & of coarse the silver tag and black levers. It runs perfect and starts first kick every single time. Everything works as it should. Hi Low beam, tail light and brake light, horn, speedo light & high beam light all work like new. Please have a look at this needle in a haystack and please feel free to ask any questions. Also, please check my feedback.

Thanks for looking & happy bidding!

Stoner Blows Away Competition on Final Day of MotoGP Sepang Test

Thu, 02 Feb 2012

To be the man, you have to beat the man, and after the final day of MotoGP’s pre-season test in Malaysia, Repsol Honda‘s Casey Stoner continues to be the man. The reigning MotoGP World Champion didn’t let lingering soreness from the back problems that sidelined him for the first day of testing at Sepang slow him down. On just his second of 21 laps on the final day, Stoner set a blistering lap time of 1:59.607, besting second-fastest rider Jorge Lorenzo by 0.591 seconds. While there’s still some room for improvement to be found his Honda RC213V, Stoner will turn things over to the engineers and fly back home to Switzerland to his wife Adriana for the birth of their first child.

American Honda Played A Big Role In Bringing Nicky Hayden Back To Team Red

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

In late 2013, American Honda was presented with an opportunity to bring Nicky Hayden back to the Honda family, and renew the relationship that started in 1999 when Hayden was just 17. By retaining Hayden’s services to ride the Honda RCV1000R in the MotoGP World Championship series for the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, American Honda is also now a proud sponsor of the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team. His first MotoGP season (2003) saw Hayden finish fifth in the championship on the Repsol Honda RC211V and win Rookie of the Year honors.

Looking forward to the NX200 - Honda's new touring enduro
