Honda CT description

My father bought this bike around 1975 and used it to drive from his summer lake house to the lake (about a quarter of a mile). It was stored during the offseason. I road-drove it in 1977 and 1978 (still licensed with a 78 plate). When I got a new bike, this one went back to the lake. I found the bike stored 3 years ago (had been stored for 10 years), installed a new battery, and got it back on the road. (See photo of bike on road). The exhaust pipe had broken off and my father built a DIY version from a lawn mower muffler. It works but is loud enough that it probably would not pass inspection. The original exhaust pipe come with the bike if you would like to find a way to reattached it. Carburetor should be rebuilt, too. The seat has several tears (with tape on them- see photo). Tires are great. Brakes work very good. Chrome is nice. Paint is great. Low original miles. This is a great bike for a great price. Please ask any questions you may have. Thanks!

Blind car drivers? It's your fault. Really, it is

Thu, 23 Sep 2010

Be seen, you Making car drivers see you is an art form that you learn from experience and narrow scrapes. It’s a fact of riding a bike that you’re harder to see than a double decker bus, it’s obvious isn’t it? You're small, fast and mostly, totally obscured by the average A-pillar.

Honda Opens Technical Center in India, Will Introduce New Models Every Quarter

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

Honda‘s subsidiary in India is opening a new technical center to develop new models for that market. The new research and development center is the first for Honda to focus only two-wheeled vehicles, and the first in all of India to feature an advanced wind tunnel to test vehicle aerodynamics. The goal, for Honda Motorcycle and  Scooter India (HMSI) is to eventually introduce a new model to India every quarter.

A Lap of the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course with John McGuinness – Video

Tue, 26 Jun 2012

The Isle of Man TT is a very special event. Once the most prestigious motorcycle event in the world, the TT requires a certain type of character to ride superbikes at an average speed of over 130 mph through the quaint villages and over the rolling hills of the 37.73-mile Mountain Course. But don’t take my word for it, take the word of 19-time TT winner John McGuinness.
