Honda CT description

1972 Honda CT70 Trail 70 - Used

3 speed automatic clutch.  Bike runs, rides and shifts great.  Spark and compression are good.  Could use a tune up for optimal performance. Bike is complete and in excellent condition for its age. Good rubber.  Chrome in good condition, just needs a cleaning.

Bike was sitting for a while, we put fresh gas in it, changed the fuel lines, changed the oil and it ran like a champ.  Bike could use a simple tune-up and a clean up which I do not have time for unfortunately. Headlight and taillight are in place but do not work at this time, probably because it could use a new battery as they do not run off the alternator.

Great bike ready to ride with a little TLC or for a full restoration.  Bike will come with a notarized bill of sale, no title. Bike is sold as-is.  Please see payment instructions before bidding.

This is a NO RESERVE auction, winning bidder gets the item.

Shipping or crating is NOT available for this item.  If delivery is needed we can arrange for up to 100 miles from zip code 07446 for a charge.  Full payment for bike and delivery must be paid in advance for delivery.  Please review the additional check out instructions before bidding.

Thanks for looking and good luck in bidding.  If you have any specific questions or need additional detail pics feel free to ask before bidding.

Check out my 100% positive feedback and bid with confidence.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

Honda VFR1200F – First Impressions

Honda’s new VFR1200F in action at Sugo in Japan. UPDATE: 2010 Honda VFR1200F Review -  First Ride Article I’m here at the Sugo Sportsland racetrack in Japan, an odd place for what seems to be a sport-touring machine like the new VFR1200F. But my time at Sugo today was one of the most incredible riding experiences of my career.

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet

Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.
