Honda CT tech info
Honda CT description
Very popular, well cared for and maintained, original owner, all original (except newer tires), San Clemente, CA purchased Honda Trail CT 110 motorcycle. Always stored inside. Runs well. Gets lots of looks. Has everything (including: original paperwork and owners manual, toolkit).
It was used as a camping bike throughout (no commuting, local travel,...). It is just over 30 years old, and at just under 3,000 miles on the odometer, it was ridden an average of just 100 miles per year. It was placed in storage for the most recent 5 years (most recent registration in 2011). There are a few specifics on condition to note: the lights (headlight, taillight, turn signals, instrument indicator lights) and are not currently operational. They were before storage. The bike starts up after a couple of kicks. The bulbs and wiring are fine so I suspect the battery can no longer hold a charge. The left handgrip has a tear at the end (cosmetic). There is some surface rust on the chrome (pretty standard on these bikes). There are some scratches on the handle bars where tie downs were used. The buddy seat is in great condition but the brackets holding it to the rear rack are loose (stays on but slides around). One small dent in rear of front fender. The painted surfaces have some minor scratches. There is some gas in the rear mounted reserve tank and appears to be some rust but it was not removed nor inspected (another pretty standard condition on these bikes). No known mechanical issues. You can see any of the noted cosmetic imperfections in the pictures. Questions welcomed. |

Tue, 25 Aug 2009Here's a new video from Honda, drumming up interest in their new V4. It's kinda nice, doesn't give much away but get to the end of the video (around 1m20secs in) and you'll hear Honda's new V4. So it's official, they've made it and it'll be out in 2010.
Stoner Tops Time Sheets as Honda MotoGP Testing Resumes
Thu, 01 Mar 2012Missing a day of testing didn’t appear to have a negative effect on Honda riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa. After missing the second day of testing because of a potential engine problem, the Repsol Honda riders were back on the track for Day 3 where they regained the top two spots on the time sheets. Honda held back Stoner and Pedrosa as well as satellite team riders Alvaro Bautista and Stefan Bradl yesterday to investigate an engine warning light that lit up on the dash of Pedrosa’s RC213V on Day 1.

Tue, 12 Feb 2013Honda‘s CBR250R has done fairly well for itself since its introduction in 2011, helping to revitalize the entry-level segment of the market in the U.S. What some people may not realize is Honda has been producing a 250cc-class called the VTR250. Available in its current form since 1997, the Honda VTR250 is a naked standard with a Ducati Monster-esque trellis frame offered in the Asia-Pacific region.
