Honda Fury description

Furious. Honda's radical Fury is a chopper like no other. Not only is it easily the most distinctive custom we have ever built, but it is comparable to one-off custom-house choppers costing 10 times as much, except that it probably works and rides twice as well. Long, lean and mean, stretching nearly six feet from axle to axle, this machine is a real head-turner. And once you settle into the saddle, turn the key and fire up that big 1,312 cc V-twin, you will know this is the bike you have been dreaming about. The Heart Of The Beast. The Fury is pure chopper, and that means it is all about its engine, a torque-heavy 1312cc 52-degree V-twin that sounds and feels as good as it looks. Draws Attention Wherever It Goes. When you ride a Fury, you are going to be the center of attention. Make It Your Own. We have got an armful of cool, classic chopper-style accessories to help you really personalize your new ride.

2011 Isle of Man TT Recap

Fri, 10 Jun 2011

The Isle of Man TT usually provides a lot of drama, and this year’s event was no different. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.

Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.

Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places

Fri, 28 Jun 2013

Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.
