Honda Gold Wing description

1983 Honda Goldwing Standard

This is a one owner bike that has only 26K miles on it and has always been stored inside, has been well cared for and it looks nearly like new. The paint, chrome, aluminum, plastic all look near new and it is all original. The bike is a Standard with a Hondaline faring installed at the dealership when it was brand new. It has been stored for the last 4 years and not ridden so it will need a battery and possibly a tune up.

I own several Goldwing Standards and they are nearly impossible to find in this condition! Just trying to thin my collection.

Auction price starting at $2500 with no reserve

How do 1000s compare to the 800s

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

2015 Honda CBR300R Announced for USA

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

American Honda announced it will offer the CBR300R for the 2015 model year. First unveiled at last fall’s CIMAMotor show in China and also appearing at EICMA in Italy, we were hoping the CBR250R replacement would have arrived in the U.S. earlier in the spring.
