THIS IS A VERY PRETTY 1995 ANNIVERSARY EDITION GOLDWING TRIKE WITH MOTOR TRIKE CONVERSION, WITH REVERSE AND EZ STEER AND ONLY 61,639 NILES. THE PEARL ROYAL MAGENTA PAINT IS ORIGINAL FROM THE FACTORY AND STILL LOOKS STRIKING. ALWAYS STORED INSIDE WHEN NOT IN USE, THIS TRIKE IS IN EXCELLENT MECHANICAL CONDITION WITH AN ENGINE THAT PURRS--JUST WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM A GOLD WING 1500 THAT IS JUST GETTING STARTED ON THE ODOMETER. This is a great-looking trike with a few scratches and some areas of road rash--nothing serious; please see photos. Nothing a little touch up paint couldn't handle or some light work at a body shop. No dents or dings or anything like that. AMA Supercross: 2012 Salt Lake City Results
Tue, 01 May 2012Ryan Dungey returned to the top of the podium for the first time since late February with a victory at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. With the injured Ryan Villopoto already crowned the 2012 AMA Supercross Champion, the win put Dungey back in contention for second overall. The Red Bull KTM last tasted victory Feb.
2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results
Tue, 18 Feb 2014James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.
A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
