Honda Gold Wing description
One owner bike, I have new title in my name in hand. Inherited the bike from the family member. Great bike with very low mileage, always serviced for new season by the dealer, garage kept and well maintained. Trike was built on California Side Cart with the independent suspension and EZ-steer which makes a ride very comfortable and pleasant. Bike is equipped with the reverse, cruise control, ABS, Navigation, chrome front wheel, fog lights, never used trailer hitch, all the owners manual. Bike must go so I will consider every reasonable offer. Will assist with loading. Thank you for looking. |

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
NEW: Yoshimura ends cans for Honda CB1000R
Wed, 10 Feb 2010LEGENDARY JAPANESE tuning house Yoshimura has designed a series of slip-on performance end cans for Honda’s naked CB1000R.The brand new EEC-approved cans bolt straight onto the bike's exiting pipework and feature a stainless steel end cone and integral lower Yoshimura logoed cat-converter heat shield. Even with the dB-Killer baffle in place peak power is improved, as is mid-range torque with further performance gains available if the baffle is removed.A full race mid-pipe, extracting yet more power is on the way and will be available later in the year. The Yoshimura CB1000R Slip-On, including the supplied heat shield, is over 4kgs lighter than the OE item, the Carbon sleeve, even more so at just 4.65kg.Part Number/Sleeve Type/Weight/RRP including VAT1A0-480-5B50 Stainless Steel 2.61kg £712.711A0-480-5B80 Titanium 2.45kg £770.181A0-480-5B80B Titan Blue 2.45kg £850.651A0-480-5B90 Carbon 2.35kg £896.631A0-480-5B20 Metal Magic 2.61kg £793.17 Noise Output (decibels)Standard end can: 94dB @ 5,000rpmYoshimura EEC Slip-On: 94.5dB @ 5,000rpm(with db-killer in place)
Simon and Leo
Thu, 11 Aug 2011If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
