Honda Gold Wing description

This motorcycle has enjoyed a pampered existence. It has experienced rain on only two occasions and has lived in a garage under cover its whole life. It started life as an Aspencade model. Presently has most of the SE model upgrades including, running lights, windshield vent, chrome brow and wheel covers, cruising pegs, lighted rear spoiler, fuse block and two auxiliary outlets for battery charger, heated clothing, GPS etc. Well maintained with fluid changes every 6000 miles. New brake pads front and rear were installed 2 weeks ago and a new battery six months ago. Over  the years I have owned 3 of these motorcycles. They really are the best luxury tourer ever made. They just take care of you.

All but about 7000 of the current 34,379 miles have been put on in the last two and a half years by me. There is absolutly no issues with this motorcycle. I don't believe there is another one out there with as low mileage and looking this good.

OK, why am I selling? As much as I hate to admit it, I'm getting on in age [79] and I've been told I should ride a lighter and smaller bike. So that will be next.

Require $500.00 down payment with balance in cash or wire transfer. Will deliver for expenses.

Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places

Fri, 28 Jun 2013

Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.

A Dizzying Lap Of Assen + Video

Nilox, the official action camera sponsor for the World Superbike series, has provided this clip of a lap around the Assen circuit in the Netherlands. “The Cathedral of Speed,” as it’s known, is a fan favorite because of its rich history. Its layout has also lent itself to some spectacular racing over the years.
