Honda Magna description

1984 Honda V65 Magna VF1100 Motorcycle.

Things to know about the Mechanics on this Motorcycle:
The Bike starts up and runs good. It goes thru the gears and stops well. Both the front and rear brakes work on the motorcycle. The Chrome on the bike looks Good with a few dents in the front fender as seen in the images. The left hand Mirror is starting to lose the mirror finish on the mirror as seen in the image. The Tires both look good with good tire tread. The Seat looks good with some wear from being used but no tears & no repairs. The bike has a small tool bag that comes with the bike. The fuel tank has a couple of paint small nicks in the tank and a small dent. Some of the chrome finish needs to be polished due to age. The bikes paint is factory and it has never been repainted.  The Bike has had a lot of repairs done to it in the past few years.  I have sales receipts of the repairs that I will provide the winning bidder. The old owner removed the pipes baffles so it's louder then normal has a nice rumble to it. When the bike comes to temperature it hold temp and didn't over heat. The Cooling Fan turns on when needed to suck the air thru the radiator to keep the bike cool. Tach works speedo works all gauges and lights work.

Tue, 08 Feb 2011

For all you lovers of perfectly welded titanium, amazingly machined aluminium and lovingly crafted fasteners; this blog's for you. These pics were shot at the Sepang MotoGP tests where the bikes were presumably being warmed up, ready for action. Take a look at that Suzuki, it's a work of art.

Honda’s New Documentary: Dreams vs Nightmares [trailer]

Wed, 24 Jun 2009

Honda have been releasing video documentaries on… well… everything!  Why?  Well to toot their own horn and remind you that Honda is crazy cool. Actually, their videos aren’t that bad, although somewhat dramatic.  I hunkered down and watched their “Failure: The Secret to Success” video and it held my attention. Their new video is titled “Dreams vs Nightmares”, which features a few notable people such as Clive Barker and Deepak Chopra.  I’m curious to see how they take this theme and use it to show how and why Honda creates and designs the products they make.

MotoGP Approves “Factory 2″ Rules

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

We’re just days away from the start of the 2014 MotoGP season and one would think it’s a little late for series organizers to make any significant rule changes. At least, one would think that if one were unfamiliar with the political back-and-forths going on between the major manufacturers and MotoGP promoter Dorna. But with the season-opening Qatar round about to begin, the Grand Prix Commission approved new rules establishing a compromise between the new Factory and Open options.
