Honda Magna description

Beautiful classic motorcycle - you will be hard pressed to find another in such great shape. This bike has ALWAYS been garage kept and maintained. Tons of extras including Windshield, Highway Bar, Saddle Bags  (Tourmaster) and Spacious easy in and out Trunk, (Well over 600.00 dollars in EXTRAS!) excellent tires with less than 500 miles on them; and this beautiful bike only has 19,720 miles! The bike in this condition Bluebooks for 1,900.00 WITHOUT ALL THE EXTRAS!

This bike belongs to my wife and she used it very gently - she replaced her with a scooter - now sadly the bike is gathering dust and needs to find a new home. If you want information on this make of motorcycle (considered by some to be one of the best built bikes ever built) please Google for more information. Here's the Wikipidia link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Magna

She has to be seen to be fully appreciated!

Schoolboy Heroes

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

A wet and grey day in Calais in 1992 wouldn’t be the obvious situation for a life changing experience, but for a 11 year old lad on a boring booze cruise from Dover this is exactly what happened. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets.  Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force.  At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag.  Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125.  Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park.  I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed.  What and how do I become a motocross champion?

Moto2 needs more radical bikes

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Makers of fine exhausts, Taylormade Racing have built a Moto2 racer that harks back to the innovative machines like the Elf Honda 500 and Britten V1000. Since Moto2's inception in 2010 the class has featured bikes with conventional chassis but the Taylormade bike, designed by Paul Taylor and John Keogh, has a radical design featuring a carbon-fibre monocoque frame, carbon-fibre swingarm, wishbone monoshock front suspension and an under-seat radiator. However, with such radical engineering the inherent problem is that it is a risk for teams to invest in such a project.

Rossi vs. Schumacher

When I was a kid, my friends and I would always have this debate on who would be fastest in a race, Superman or the Flash. I always felt that the Flash would be faster because speed’s his thing. He wears a lightning bolt on his chest because he’s as fast as lightning.
