The 2013 edition of the Isle of Man TT kicked off with the first of two scheduled three-lap Sure Sidecar races. The favorites going into the race were the DMR duo of Dave Molyneux and his passenger Patrick Farrance. Karel Abraham to Ride Honda Production Racer for 2014 MotoGP season

MotoGP team Cardion AB announced it plans to field rider Karel Abraham in the 2014 Championship on Honda‘s new RC213V-based production racer. Cardion AB becomes the second MotoGP team to select Honda’s production racer. The Gresini Racing team will also use the Honda machine, which is no surprise considering the team’s history with Honda prototypes.

Redding Signs with Gresini to Ride Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer

Current Moto2 points leader Scott Redding has signed a two-year contract to race in the MotoGP class for the Go&Fun Honda Gresini team. The 20-year-old British rider will join Alvaro Bautista on the Gresini team riding the new Honda‘s new production racer the team reveals will be called the RCV1000R. Redding leads the Moto2 championship for the Marc van der Straten racing team with 167 points, a comfortable lead of 21 points ahead of Tuenti HP 40‘s Pol Espargaró with seven rounds to go.
