Honda Other description

Runs great, ready to ride. With Rack, Bags and Wind Jammer! This is a classic 1979 Honda CX500 Custom stock. Baffled original exhaust and a pair of aftermarket mufflers. Carbs just rebuilt by CXLarry (if you ride Classics you need to know Larry's carb work!).

Engine in great shape. Overall the bike is in very good condition. Tires are in great shape.

A little over 15,600 miles. I still ride it but have gotten a CB750 so that is the new daily machine.

New parts include:  tires & tire valves, headlight lamp, fuel petcock & fuel line, throttle & clutch cables, front brake master cylinder and grips, New seat cover.

Rebuilt parts include: carburetors, front forks (new bushings, seals & fork oil).

Other serviced: fuel tank cleaned, oil & filter, final drive drained & refilled, valves adjusted.

I will answer any questions you have and/or set up a time to come see it.

Thanks for looking!

Barber Recognized by Guinness as World’s Largest Motorcycle Museum

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Guinness World Records has officially recognized the Barber Motorsports Museum as the world’s largest motorcycle museum in the world. The 144,000-square-foot, five-story museum is home to nearly 1400 motorcycles, of which about 700 are on exhibit. We’ve featured the Barber Museum before, and are completely blown away each time we step foot within its doors. It’s simply awe-inspiring.

How about Edwards at Repsol Honda?

Wed, 13 Jun 2012

Casey Stoner's decision to retire at the end of the season has had a real shake-up for the Repsol Honda line-up along with the discussion, rumour and speculation of who will take his vacated seat for next season. With silly season occurring much earlier following Stoner's announcement at the French GP in May, rumours and speculation have been banded around with three candidates leading the way: Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. Lorenzo, until he was confirmed to stick with Yamaha for another two seasons, was the most plausible of the trio as both himself and Casey are the top two riders in the world right now, making him the obvious choice after the Australian departs.

2013 European Junior Cup to Use Honda CBR500R

Wed, 14 Nov 2012

As expected, Honda announced its new CBR500R sportbike will be featured in the 2013 European Junior Cup, a single-spec racing series that competes at European rounds of the World Superbike Championship. We saw this coming when Honda announced it would supply an all new sportbike for the European Junior Cup, but the news wasn’t official until after Honda unveiled the CBR500R alongside its siblings the CB500F and CB500X at the 2012 EICMA Show. Plus this also gives us an excuse to run a 39-picture gallery of the new CBR500R after the jump.
