Honda Other tech info
Honda Other description
Completely rebuilt CX500 Cafe. Only needs paint. My wife lost her job
and things are getting tight so this thing has to go and it breaks my
heart.
Bike has been completely tore down and powder coated. Engine has been stripped meticulously and painted. New All Balls bearings in the fork stem, and Murray's Carbs carburetors that have been worked on and tuned personally by him. Rae San after market ignition and brand new rear shocks. Mac 2 into 1 exhaust as well. This thing runs great, I have ridden it about ten times and it is a blast. The motor was low mileage when I got it around 5,400 miles so it pulls very strong. Runs, idles and sounds great. All new cables, grips, lights and blinkers. Tank has a dent on both sides from pre build that can easily be fixed. Inside is clean as a whistle with no rust. The bike has a great seat that has a welded in mount, complete original tool kit. All you need to do is choose your paint scheme and you are on a really nice classic Honda that has been Cafe'd. Title in hand. |

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?
Thu, 05 May 2011Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
475cc NS400R. Marquez and Spencer.
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Winter may be here but I seem to be as busier than ever, maybe the economy is finally turning around. At my last UK track day of the year I had some fun testing this little beauty. It’s a late eighties NS400 triple bored out to 475cc and it felt sweet as I zinged round the GP Arena track at Silverstone. Being stripped bare to reduce weight gives it a very respectable power to weight ratio which means it could live with 600s (on the twisty bits at least).
Win a Fireblade. Yes, really.
Fri, 29 Jun 2012This weekend sees the launch of Honda's anniversary promotions for the Fireblade – marking 20 years since its introduction. The firm has created a prize-draw web page at www.honda.co.uk/fireblade and for a chance to win you just need to fill in your details, after which you'll be given a code which you must take to a participating Honda dealer on August 11 before 2pm. The winner will be announced at 3pm on the 11th, and if they've hung around in the dealership until then they'll also be given 10 tickets to Motorcycle Live 2012.
