Honda Other description

Up for sale is my 1982 Cx500c a lot of work has been done to this bike with a lot of time and money invested. with that being said it is not a show bike. its a rider and that's what it was built for. it is not shiny or fancy. It works. and that's about it. when I got the bike a little over a year ago it had 3800 Original miles on it. it now has just over 4k. I have ran the bike with multiple gauge configurations to get used to rpm/ speed and verify the temp gauge was with in limits. it currently has no gauges on it so the stock speedo will be slightly lower than whats actually on the bike. new parts off the top of my head include. 2-2 wrapped pipes, uni pod filters, new jets, hidden push button starter, roll-a-click levers, lowbrow custom grips, biltwell clubman bars, custom bent stainless seat pan. harley tail light, cb750 headlight, fork seals, all fresh fluids from honda. custom honda wing/cx decals (have extras) Im sure im missing stuff. The bad- right side of the tank has a nice size dent in it from previous owner ( see pic ) that was while stripping the tank, I removed all filler before re installing. It goes with the look of the bike... does not bother me. needs a new petcock, the vacuum shutoff is getting weak and its starting to leak, will have this replaced in a few days. the seat is not finished. the pan is made and bolted on.. I ride it with a rolled up hoody zip tied to the pan.. again does not bother me.. this is not a distance bike its for kicking around town. for sale locally so i reserve the right to end at anytime. feel free to ask any questions and ill post more info if i forgot something.

WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
