These are from two 650 Honda's. 1 was a 1980, 650 & the other was a 1981, 650 Custom. These may fit other yrs. but not sure. You'll need to check w/a dealer. The need to be reupholstered but the foam looks in pretty super condition. The metal trim on the sides & the bottoms are in terrific shape also. More pics available upon request. How do 1000s compare to the 800s
Wed, 09 Nov 2011Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.
Honda CBR250R Challenge Series Announced for 2012 Canadian Superbike Season
Mon, 19 Dec 2011Honda Canada has officially announced a new racing series featuring its CBR250R entry-level sportbike, to be held at 2012 Canadian Superbike racing events. The new Honda CBR250R Challenge series replaces the previous CBR125R spec series and will include a double-header at each CSBK National race weekend. The series is open to riders 15-25, though riders as young as 13 may be eligible if they have competed in at least three sanctioned CBR125R events.
Dakar Racer Eric Palante Found Dead
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Dakar Rally organizers announced the death of Belgian racer Eric Palante, 50. The experienced Dakar racer disappeared on the fifth stage which most competitors completed Jan. 9.
