Ben Bostrom Events

Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.

If you thought the license test was hard in America…

I’ll be the first to admit that the procedure to get a motorcycle endorsement (and a car license for that matter) in this country is incredibly easy. If you’re smart, you sit in a classroom for a few hours, answer some basic questions, learn all the controls, perform a simple riding test, and you’re off to the races.  Look at what the Japanese have to do to get their certification! Honda Sold 16.8 Million Motorcycles in 2013

Honda announced sales of 16.8 million motorcycles in 2013, an improvement of 8.7% from the 15.5 million motorcycles sold in 2012. The announcement was made two days before Honda’s third quarter report for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2013, so we will have to wait to hear the financial impact, but based on these numbers, the quarterly report should be positive.
