Honda Other description

In 2004  and 2005, Honda made a very limited production run of the Rune - a corporate showpiece of a bike built around the 1800cc flat six cylinder engine found in the Goldwing series - building on the popularity of the original Valkyrie F6B. This bike was exclusive, many Honda dealers never got one due to their limited avaliabilty. These bikes were offered in essentially two specs, the standard model with cast wheels and limited chrome, and a premium package bike featuring chrome wheels and trim pieces. The chrome bikes offered in the "color shifting" Illusion Blue color were the rarest of this rare breed. This is very sharp example of this extraordinary machine.

Our bike is a 2005 model, and is an original chrome/premium model (not one that was upgraded later as some owners have done). It is largely stock, with the exception of a few tasteful extras (notice the highway pegs, chrome accent trim, and some subdued LED accent lighting. This bike has been well kept and maintained, and was given a thorough servicing by our factory trained service team. Without hesistation we would climb on this bike and ride it anywhere. (NOTE: In the photos there is a small wrinkled chrome piece of heat shield on the right exhaust. This is common on the Rune and has since been replaced)

In recent years these bikes have become more and more desirable as collectors bikes - as reflected in their INCREASING NADA and KBB values. Current NADA value is $20,800!

Here is your chance- you can own a visually stunning, well maintained, ready ride classic. This motorcycle is being offered for sale by Purcell's Motorcycle and Marine World, and can be seen on our showroom at 6407 Blanding Blvd Jacksonville FL 32244. A Dizzying Lap Of Imola + Video

Wed, 14 May 2014

Nilox, the action camera sponsor for World Superbike, makes it a point to film an on-board lap of each track on the calendar before each race weekend. A few weeks ago we brought you footage of Giuliano Rovelli lapping a Honda CBR1000RR SP around Assen. This week Rovelli is back, this time aboard a Kawasaki ZX-10R, giving us a rapid tour of Imola, the track made famous by the tragic passing of Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna 20 years ago, and also by the legendary battle between Troy Bayliss and Colin Edwards in 2002 which decided the championship.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

Isle of Man TT 2012: TT Zero Results – MotoCzysz Wins 100 mph Bounty

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

Third time’s a charm. 2010 and 2011 TT Zero winner MotoCzysz, with rider Michael Rutter, finally became the first to average a speed of 100 mph on the Isle of Man‘s 37.733 Mountain Course on an electric motorcycle, capturing the long-sought after 10,000 British pound (US$15,000) bounty. Wearing the #1 plate for winning last year’s TT Zero, Rutter completed the 2012 TT Zero with a time of 21:45.33 for an average speed of 104.056 mph on the new 2012 MotoCzysz E1PC.
