Honda Other description

2010 Honda VT1300CX Fury, Long...Low....& Lean! - Look at what happens when we give our designers the green light to create the bike of your wildest dreams! The daring Honda VT1300CX Fury captures the essence of the choppers of yesteryear, with its radically raked front end, sleek and smooth lines, and that big V-twin engine cradled by a spartan frame with a high-mount steering head. But where some retro-choppers are little more than impractical styling exercises, the VT1300CX Fury backs up its outrageous looks with advanced engineering, including a specially designed shaft-drive system. You get wild chopper looks, plus the handling and reliability you expect from a Honda. Exclusive Model only available at Honda Powerhouse Dealers

Honda VTR-Powered Lawn Mower Claims 133mph Top Speed

Wed, 17 Jul 2013

Honda UK has teamed up with its British Touring Car Championship partner Team Dynamics to produce what it calls the world’s fastest lawn mower. The Honda Mean Mower is powered by a 996cc V-Twin engine from a VTR1000F Superhawk, leading Honda to claim a top speed of 133 mph and a 0-60 time of four seconds. Based on a Honda HF2620 lawn tractor, the Mean Mower uses an all-new 4130 chromoly steel chassis and bespoke suspension and wheels from a Honda ATV.

A postcard from Moto GP Jerez

Fri, 04 May 2012

If the weather over the Jerez Moto GP weekend was dull then the atmosphere in the press room was the complete opposite.  After the carnage and chaos during the Moto 3 race, the amazing Romano Fenati (in only his second GP) had the Italian journalists celebrating as he crossed the line to win. I smiled as they simultaneously began singing ‘Y Viva Espana’ as if to signify the end of Spanish dominance in the junior GP class.
