Honda Other description

2011 Honda VT1300CXA Fury, HONDA FURY WITH 240 WIDE TIRE KIT AND LOTS MORE EXTRAS - The true magic of the Honda VT1300CXA Fury is not its radically raked front end. Or its big V-twin engine cradled by a frame that's hardly there. Or its ingenious hidden single-shock rear suspension that provides comfort that's far superior to that of many chopper-style motorcycles. Or its sleek, sensuous styling with new colour-matched frame for 2011. No, the true magic is how the Fury performs when you slide into its low, wide seat, crack the throttle, and head down the road. Custom bike enthusiasts love the chopper for its outrageous styling, but until now it seemed like nobody could get a motorcycle with such a radically raked front end to handle properly. But the Fury handles like... well, like a Honda. Which is to say it steers and rides with a predictability that makes you immediately feel comfortable and in control. You get wild chopper looks, plus the handling, engine performance and reliability you expect from a Honda. That's the magic of the VT1300CXA Fury. Exclusive Model only available at Honda Powerhouse Dealers

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

Ryan Villopoto ran mostly unchallenged for his fourth win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, taking advantage of an early spill by Ryan Dungey. The win strengthens Villopoto’s hold on the points lead as the Kawasaki rider seeks his fourth-consecutive championship. Villopoto took the holeshot in the Houston main event and never looked back, leading all 20 laps for the win.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.

Honda NM4 Vultus Concept Revealed

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

Honda revealed a new concept model called the NM4 Vultus, a futuristic-looking 745cc motorcycle with a massive front fairing. Despite the fact it looks like a mockup made for a movie like the Kawasaki-based bike in the recent Robocop reboot, Honda says the NM4 is indeed planned for production. The NM4 was designed by a team of young engineers in their 20s and early 30s, and that’s demographic Honda wants to target with its new concept.
