Honda Other description

Here is a stock st90 with the original California plate that is street legal and ready to ride.   I have the pink slip in my name.  No funny business.   I got a govt. retirement paycheck coming in and do not have to rip people off. My family has lived in Hollywood over 90 years but I have to tell you that most everyone in Southern CA is some sort of liar.

Thinking of buying a motorcycle?  Take my advice from over multiple motorcycle buying.  Many on here (for the most part) will not show you the license plate on their bikes.   They claim that they bought their vintage bikes from a vet who had to sell his bike to go to war.   Thing is that the license plate they have is from a few years ago.   Where is the original.  Do you know anybody who goes to a California DMV to get a new plate when they don't have to do so?   If they kept the bike well for the last 40 years in climate controlled conditions the original plate should look like new.   Also they tend to have low selling scores.    It's just a throwaway ebay account after you get ripped really good.  Who cares if you lose an identity that only has 10 feedbacks for selling small items.   This is the problem we all face.

I have been on Ebay since 1999.   None of my bikes sold ever got bad reviews.   The lights work.  The signals light up as they should with the control but they do not flash.  This may be due to an old flasher.  I don't know.  It's enough to get by without getting a ticket.  The rear light does work and so does the stoplight switch.

I do not know if the mileage is true.  I bought this used.  I fell in love with the original stock plate and noticed that this had been well kept.    It does seem to run good.   It does shift.   It is not banged up or bruised.  Body is nice.  Has one mirror that fell out on the right side.  This motorcycle had been stored for 25 years before I bought it.  I took it to the Honda dealer and had him do a complete tune up and go over anything wrong that was showing.

Check out that sweet Tustin Norton AJS frame.   The frame may be worth more than the bike to many Norton  AJS   Enthusiast who want to bring up the value of a bike.   I saw my old Sherman Oaks Bud Edkins Triumph plate go for over $200.

Handles very nice.  A great bike for a retirement community or a retired person who likes to check out garage sales without getting off his bike.    If something is any good you can buy it and come back with a truck.

This bike has wide separation of gears.  It likes to roll on the street.   This is much easier to ride than a trail 70.  You do not feel crunched.  It has lots of room for a big person.     THIS BIKE IS SOLD AS IS.  KEEP IN MIND THAT IT IS 40 YEARS OLD.  IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO RIDE LIKE NEW YOU SHOULD BUY NEW.

Taliban Magazine Condemns America but Praises Honda

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

Manufacturers are usually glad to hear positive reviews of their products, but we’ve got a feeling Honda is not happy about the ringing endorsement it received from the latest issue of the Taliban-published magazine “Azan“. The English-language magazine is a pro-Jihadist quarterly; pure propaganda designed to recruit impressionable and disillusioned Muslims in the West. It’s somewhat jarring then to find buried within the radical rhetoric a full page spread on a 125cc Honda as one of the Taliban’s “Steeds of War”.

Honda Motor Compo: For Those Too Lazy to Walk From the Car to the Front Door

Thu, 01 Dec 2011

Honda introduced a new electric suitcase-styled scooter concept designed to be small enough to fit in the passenger compartment of a car. (Updated with more high-resolution photos). The Motor Compo concept was unveiled alongside Honda’s futuristic-looking Micro Commuter Concept electric car at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show.

Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
