Looking to sell my 1998 Honda Shadow ACE 1100cc.
It has a custom Star Wars Paint job and lots of extras. If you don't like the paint job I'm sure it would not be too much to repaint the tank & saddlebags to basic black/white. Only looking to sell because I don't ride nearly as much as I should. It just got a fresh oil change and cleaned the carburetor. Battery & tires practically new Dunlop White wall tires have about 300 miles on them. Runs perfect, big enough that it doesn't get pushed around by semis and such on the highway and cruises great. Longest drive I've done on it was 5 hours. Will include a small tool kit, jumper cables, and complete maintenance history with receipts for the past year I've owned it. List of some of the accessories: Hard Locking Saddlebags Cobra Floorboards Passenger Floorboards Crash/Highway Bar Highway Pegs Removable Windshield Sissybar Luggage Rack Cupholder Clock Lightbar And several chrome trim/covers. 2014 Honda CB1100 Announced
Wed, 20 Nov 2013The Honda CB1100 has only been available here in North America for a year, but for 2014, the retro-styled standard is already getting an update. That’s because the CB1100 has been around for a bit longer overseas, and for nearly everywhere but here, it’s ripe for a modest refresh. For 2014, Honda is replacing the previous version’s five-speed transmission with a six-speed gearbox.
Repsol Honda Signs Marquez and Pedrosa for 2013 MotoGP Season
Thu, 12 Jul 2012Honda Racing Corporation announced it has signed rising Spanish talent Marc Marquez to a two-year contract on its factory team. He will race alongside Dani Pedrosa who signed a two-year contract extension with Honda to race in the 2013 MotoGP Championship. Marquez currently leads the Moto2 Championship by 43 points for the Catalunya Caixa Repsol team after finishing second in the series in 2011.
GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong. As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
