I'm leaving the state soon, otherwise I would never be letting go of this silver bucket of power. This is a shaft driven, 2007 Honda Shadow 1100 with only 7,751 mis. It has been well maintained and has all the extras you would need for a serious Alaskan adventure. Since you'll no doubt be doing some extensive traveling around our great state, I'll be throwing in these extras to help you get started:Contour Camera and Mount - That's right, that's a contour camera mounted to the handlebars. Perfect for catching a Moose running along the road. You can't always stop and take photos of the scenery but with this, you can catch it all.Airhawk seat - You'll want to get as much time on this bike as possible, so you'll need this to keep your butt from hurting.Travel bag - Works just fine for packing a few days worth of clothes and supplies. Manufacturers are usually glad to hear positive reviews of their products, but we’ve got a feeling Honda is not happy about the ringing endorsement it received from the latest issue of the Taliban-published magazine “Azan“. The English-language magazine is a pro-Jihadist quarterly; pure propaganda designed to recruit impressionable and disillusioned Muslims in the West. It’s somewhat jarring then to find buried within the radical rhetoric a full page spread on a 125cc Honda as one of the Taliban’s “Steeds of War”.

Arai Helmet has thrown its proverbial hat in the ring by signing up to sponsor the next two events of the new GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Presented by Yamaha. In addition, Arai has been named the official helmet of the series. The Arai Pacific Nationals will be hosted by the AFM next weekend, May 3-4, at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California.

The ninth stage took the field to the northernmost point of this year’s Dakar. The riders descended from yesterday’s plateau through the Atacama desert towards the Pacific Ocean. Sand and dunes challenged the athletes especially in the final third of the stage, demanding excellent navigation skills.
