Honda VTX description

I'm selling my 2002 Honda VTX1800c, it has Vance & Hines pipes with moderate baffles that give a nice rumble without the loud noise that makes everyone think you're an idiot, nice Corbin seat, power commander III fuel control, led turn signals, Kuryakin grips, quite a bit of chrome with new pieces just added at this pic's were taken., terrific tires, brakes, and is in overall terrific shape. Changed out the highway bar with a leaner looking bar and add the light changer device so I don't sit at lamps that won't change for bikes. Bike has 24,500 mis on it and has synthetic oil. I have an extra windscreen , the original stock exhaust and the forward controls, as well as one helmet, a bike cover and a battery charging system for those winter months the bike sits. Everything here is in A1 shape. Don't need to sell or really want too, but don't ride enough as you can tell by the miles. the tags are good til April 2013. So the asking price was 5300 obo, but need to pay iRS off so I would concider 4400 cash if sold before November, 30th 2013. This bike is ready to go and does not require any more aftermarket parts to ride it in comfort. There's still some riding season left if you buy soon. Please text John at 209-992-XXXX if you are seriously looking. Also test drives require proof of license and 4400 cash in my hand while testing

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
