Honda VTX description

You are bidding on a 2003 VTX 1800 Retro that was purchased new in 2004 from Honda dealer near Atlanta. I am the second owner and have been since 2006. Bike has been well cared for and always stored indoors.Total actual mileage currently reads 4833 and may increase slightly prior to sale. This bike is an absolute pleasure to ride being both comfortable and very fast. It gets a lot of attention and compliments wherever it goes. Has factory fuel injection so there are no carburetor adjustments to worry with and performance and fuel economy are both increased.

Has always been well maintained with several oil changes even with minimal miles ridden using Mobil 1 oil.  Loaded with chrome and has many add-ons. Following is a list of those that come to mind:

*Dyno Jet Power Commander tuning module with programming accessories
*Avon Venom tires with only a few hundred miles on them
 *Factory chrome spoke wheels
 *Curved chrome license plate frame
 *Chrome and rubber hand grips
*K&N air filter & high flow chrome housing (Feeds tons of air)
*New battery only a few months old
*Custom handlebar risers for rider comfort
 *Windvest adjustable windshield
*Ultimate Big Boy seat w/blinker module (vibrates to remind to cancel turn signal)
*Cobra Speedster exhaust - Sounds Great!

No disappointments with this bike. I would rate at 9 of 10 with no known defects. Ask all questions before bidding. Delivery possible with arrangements made prior to auction ending and will also be happy to work with your shipper. Under 5 feedback rating please email before bidding.

$500.00 deposit via Paypal due within 24 hours of winning bid to prevent relisting. Remaining balance due in cash on delivery. For sale locally so auction may end without notice. NADA lists average retail at $6545.00 without consideration for very low mileage. If wanting an 1800R, you are viewing as good as they get. Don't wait!

Will be listing a Yamaha Vstar 650 equally as clean and even fewer  miles so check my other listings.

Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?

Thu, 05 May 2011

Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.

Stuck for a gift? Solution No3: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki merchandise

Fri, 09 Dec 2011

After the excesses of KTM and Harley's gifts ranges, Hondas seems tame. But even the sober Japanese firm has a handful of oddities in its line-up. The Japanese have been accused of imitating in the past, and Honda's incorporation of a baby's dummy in its official accessories catalogue mimics KTM's 'Silencer-System Mini Pro'.

Honda Opening Fourth Motorcycle Factory in India

Honda announced plans to open its fourth motorcycle manufacturing plant in India, with a production capacity of 1.2 million units per year. Honda is investing 11 billion Indian rupees (US$175.8 million) into the new facility which it hopes will strengthen the position of its subsidiary Honda Motorcycle Scooter India Ltd. as the world’s second largest motorcycle producer while taking aim at the current leader, Hero MotoCorp.
