2004 Honda NRX1800 Valkyrie Rune One owner, as-new condition This bike has been in climate-controlled storage for the last 5 years. It needs a new battery and the brakes need to be bled, but other than that it is ready for the road. The body is in pristine condition. There are no mechanical issues, new tires at 6,500 miles and it comes with complete maintenance records and the original service manual. Sold with a body-colored Corbin trimtab fairing which requires installation. Bike is for sale by original owner, and is currently in Vermont. Buyer will be responsible for arranging transport. |

Mon, 23 Apr 2012The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. Tue, 20 Jul 2010RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.
Honda Opening Fourth Motorcycle Factory in India
Wed, 05 Feb 2014Honda announced plans to open its fourth motorcycle manufacturing plant in India, with a production capacity of 1.2 million units per year. Honda is investing 11 billion Indian rupees (US$175.8 million) into the new facility which it hopes will strengthen the position of its subsidiary Honda Motorcycle Scooter India Ltd. as the world’s second largest motorcycle producer while taking aim at the current leader, Hero MotoCorp.
