Honda XR description
This is a very well taken care of bike and I have treated it like my baby for years. It has a few scratches on the front fender and rear side plates but other than that everything is in good shape. The engine runs strong and has recently been bored out to around 270cc with a new wiseco piston and rings. The tires are two seasons old but have minimal wear since I have only ridden once this year and only a few times last year. I have never raced this bike and it has mainly been pre-owned on local trails. I am selling this bike because I just don't ride enough anymore. If you are interested call or text Taylor at. Honda NC700X Recall Expands to US
Fri, 28 Sep 2012As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall on the 2012 Honda NC700X. The recall announcement comes a week after the NC700X and the NC700S were recalled in Canada. As with the Transport Canada recall, the problem is a lack of proper heat treatment on the Honda NC700X’s drive chain.
Honda Sold 16.8 Million Motorcycles in 2013
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Honda announced sales of 16.8 million motorcycles in 2013, an improvement of 8.7% from the 15.5 million motorcycles sold in 2012. The announcement was made two days before Honda’s third quarter report for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2013, so we will have to wait to hear the financial impact, but based on these numbers, the quarterly report should be positive.
Honda Teases New 2014 Off-Road Model – Video
Thu, 09 May 2013American Honda released a video teasing a new 2014 off-road model which will be revealed in May 14. The 2:21 video was shot with an action camera mounted along the top of the swingarm as the mystery model races around a motocross track. The most obvious conclusion is the teaser is for the 2014 Honda CRF450R or CRF250R.
