On Board the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR with Jake Zemke

Veteran AMA racer Jake Zemke was on hand for the recent press intro for the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR. We asked Jake to go a couple of laps for us at Infineon Raceway with our GoPro camera to show us what it’s like to ride the CBR for someone used to pushing the bike to its limits. Come Join The 2014 Honda Daytona Kick-Off Party

Every year, race fans flock to Daytona Beach, FL, for one of the biggest and most fun events of the season: Daytona Bike Week. To boost that fun factor even higher, Honda has established the Honda Daytona Kick-Off Party as one of the must-do happenings during Bike Week. Be sure to come join the Honda Supercross and GNCC Red Riders to celebrate the start of Daytona Bike Week and the Supercross by Honda on Friday, March 7, 6-8 p.m., at Honda’s Main Display Area (look for the new location of the Honda tents, just east of turn 4).

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
