Honda XR description
Up for auction is this 2007 Honda XR 650r. It was purchased new in crate in late 2008 and stayed in crate till 2011. Upon taking out of crate, it was sent to local Honda dealer and serviced. It was ridden for the next 2 years just around the block every other month to keep everything fresh. Just re serviced 2 weeks ago with all new fluids ( Maxima 15/50 synthetic, brake fluid-Motul, radiator fluid-Honda. It has been derestricted with genuine Honda parts and been TITLED and PLATED in Colorado. It has a battery operated horn and brake light. The only non stock items are the Pro taper 7/8 bars,speedo/computer, small 12V battery under seat and the LED brake light. I have the stock handlebars and stock odometer. This XR is MINT condition and has not even touched dirt! There are NO SCRATCHES anywhere. I also still have the stock crate cover and the removed items to derestrict along with the manual! It currently has brand new Pirelli MT 21 D.O.T. tires on it and the original tires come with. This 2007 is the last year XR 650R you can get and you won't find one better! BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s Hottrax Endurance Championship.
Lorenzo, Spies Call Test a Success Despite Crashes
Thu, 01 Mar 2012Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies each crashed but both riders deemed the third and final day of MotoGP testing in Malaysia a success. Lorenzo and Spies both crashed during the morning of the test but were unhurt. Despite the minor setback, both riders managed to get a lot done at the Sepang International Circuit.
