If you thought the license test was hard in America…

I’ll be the first to admit that the procedure to get a motorcycle endorsement (and a car license for that matter) in this country is incredibly easy. If you’re smart, you sit in a classroom for a few hours, answer some basic questions, learn all the controls, perform a simple riding test, and you’re off to the races.  Look at what the Japanese have to do to get their certification! Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Pata Honda Replica Onesies for Leon Haslam’s and Jonathan Rea’s New Babies

World Superbike teammates Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea and their wives are expecting babies with their respective wives in the next few weeks, so the Pata Honda team presented its riders with a special gift: onesies replicating the team’s racing leathers. Tatia and Jonathan Rea are expecting their first child in September while Olivia and Leon Haslam are expecting their second child any day now. Rea’s baby will have a replica of daddy’s Alpinestars racing suit with all of his sponsors and his butt patch.
