2013 Husqvarna TXC250R, The success of Husqvarna???s signature Red Head on the 2012 TC250 has led it to find its way on all of Husky???s small-bore four-strokes in 2013, including the re-vamped TXC250R. The new red head isn???t all the quarter-liter off-roader gets this year. As well as a shot in the arm in the power department, the suspension has been upgraded to complement the more aggressive new motor. The TXC250R not only has a racier nature for 2013, but offers the absolute lightest handling when it comes to cross-country competition bikes.

2012 Husqvarna TC/CR Motocross Models Announced
Tue, 30 Aug 2011Husqvarna announced its 2012 motocross lineup including the updated TC250 and TC449 four-stroke models and CR125 two-stroke. Like the previously announced TE dual sports and TXC and WR off-road models, Husqvarna‘s 2012 motocross line receives new all-black chromoly frames with added structural reinforcement, and silver anodized Excel rims. 2012 Husqvarna TC250 The 2012 Husqvarna TC250 (pictured above) receives a new engine with a lighter piston and updated cylinder head, both borrowing from parent company BMW’s Formula 1 developments.

There are some technical metamorphoses, and one of the main ones is a new reverse slip clutch from the Swiss company Suter Industries. But still, it's a familiar fighter with a 449cc single-barreled 63bhp, WP monoshock rear, 16.5" front and 17" rear wheels on Bridgestone slicks.
