Indian All description

1901 replica motorcycle tribute for sale that is adult owned and built for display, that replicates the pre loop frame motorcycles. These diamond frame bikes were manufractured at the turn of the century by ; ER THOMAS, SHAW EXCELSIOR, INDIAN, etc. This bike was built to replicate that era bike - that is hard to obtain and afford by many. Given a new 80cc two stroke motor left stock, for good performance and ensure parts if and when needed.Design Studio gave the bike a antique barnfind patina that was replicated from examples at the HENRY FORD museum. The race theme of this bike was replicated from a EXCELSIOR boardtrack racer viewed on youtube. The handelbars can be fliped over to give it a upright look if you desire - the holes are predrilled for throttle placement. The bike is new and has been bumped started but not ridden due to being displayed indoors [ rear stand included for display and starting ] THIS BIKE IS DRIVABLE BUT LIKE ANTIQUE MOTORCYCLES MAY REQUIRE ADJUSTMENTS AND TINKERING, that is the mystique of these typs of bikes. The bike has no title due to it being described as a moped -Last few photos are inspiration examples.Shipping up to buyer but will assist - The bike is located in Brighton, michigan 48116 and weights approx 75lbs  RIDE OR DISPLAY  thanks for looking   DESIGN STUDIO    will accept offers [ RELISTED DUE TO NO PAY EBAYER]       HILLCLIMBER ART BIKE AND EXCELSIOR $ 3,500   THANKS FOR LOOKING

Hero MotoCorp Launches 125cc Ignitor in India

Tue, 03 Jul 2012

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Ignitor, a 125cc premium model based on the CBF Stunner from former partner turned rival Honda. The Ignitor is one of the final models Hero will produce with technology licensed from Honda, and it is expected to bridge the gap before Hero introduces its own new models (with help from a gentleman named Erik Buell.) Like the Stunner, the Hero Ignitor is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine. Both models claim 11hp and 8 ft-lb., but the Ignitor reaches its peak torque at 5000 rpm while the Stunner has to spin up to 6500 rpm.

Polaris Reports Q1 2012 Results

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

Polaris Industries reported a 44% increase in on-road vehicle sales revenue and a 40% increase in North American Victory Motorcycle unit sales over the first quarter of 2012. According to Polaris’ first quarter report, its on-road vehicle division (which consists of the Victory and Indian motorcycle brands as well as electric vehicle brands GEM and Goupil) generated $64.7 million in sales revenue, compared to $44.9 million reported in the same quarter of 2011. Of course, the Polaris didn’t yet own Indian, GEM or Goupil during that quarter last year, so the figures are a bit misleading.
