2009 - Indian Chief Vintage on 2040-motos
Indian Chief Roadmaster description
This 2009 Kings Mountain Indian Chief Vintage is a beautiful representation of the original Indians. The iconic color of ivory cream and the brown leather bags, seat and accessories really make it stand out. Lots of eyeball appeal. The paint and chrome are in beautiful shape. Mechanically runs great. Has Samson fishtail pipes that gives it a nice sound when you're riding. I have the rear seat and windshield that will be included with the sale.

Tue, 09 Mar 2010SEE THE MACHINE that could propel Britain to a new motorcycle land speed world record at The Race Retro 2010 show, held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry from 12th to 14th March. Almost a year has passed since Visordown broke the news of the planned UK assault on the land speed record - this coming August the Angelic Bulldog team travels to Bonneville, where it is hoping to smash the 400mph barrier and bring the motorcycle Land Speed Record back to the UK for the first time since 1937. The current record stands at 360.913mph over a kilometre.
Indian introduces new PowerPlus engine
Wed, 20 Nov 2019The apparatus with a 60-degree camber of the cylinder block can hardly be called the “little brother” of the 1811cc Thunder Stroke 111 engine - its capacity is 1769cc, but in terms of design solutions, the motors are fundamentally different. Let's start with the fact that, according to the manufacturer, the new engine is the most powerful in its class - it develops 121hp at 5500rpm and 178 Nm at 3800 rpm. PowerPlus, like the Scout motor, has an overhead camshaft, is equipped with four valves per cylinder and hydraulic compensators, eliminating the need to adjust clearances, the cooling is liquid.
