This 4 cylinder work of engineering excellence, will relate to every early motorcycle/ car collector FIRE ENTHUSIAST in the world. Originally exported to Australia many years ago, this would be the center piece for every collection out there.. Only a few known still existing & this example is in beautiful condition. The huge original waterous engine still in place but not started in many years. Engine will require careful checking, turns & has good compression. Crank handle start.. This item weighs around 11/2 tons. It can be delivered to SYDNEY & CONTAINERISED FOR EXPORT back to the USA/CANADA. SHIPPING TO BE ARRANGE BY BUYER, BUT WE CAN HELP.The engine was offered for sale in limited numbers & advertised as ideal for a small town fire engine. The selling price back in the day, was well above $2000 to $3000 dollars.

This engine is documented on the net in various chat rooms where it's export to Australia was recorded .. This engine comes with tools, spares small pieces and genuine hose with BRASS NOZZLE & COUPLINGS.

Engine is huge 4 cylinder approx 6 times or larger the size of a henderson or indian 4 cylinder.

It is a watercooled sidevalve.. The engine is approx 2 metres tall, (about 6 1/2 feet) & 4 metres long (13 feet) the horsepower pumper is approx 35 hp..pumping 350 gallons per minute!

ENGINE IS SUPPLIED WITH HOSES, COUPLINGS POLES MAN DRAWN & HORSE DRAWN..VERY LOW RESERVE & MUST BE SOLD.

~ A stunning example of a fabulous vintage veteran engineering masterpiece... we are sure many collectors would have an interest in this wonderful machine.

In fact, according to the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), women riders increased by 34% between 1998 and 2003. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) also says women make up nearly 30% of students in its Basic RiderCourses program.

We rode up from Southern California on a Victory Hard-Ball we outfitted with a host of accessories from the Victory catalog, including a wind-blocking batwing fairing.

After almost five years of, product development, testing, speculation and dealer development, Indian Motorcycle has announced that the first shipment of 2009 Indian Chiefs has been shipped to seven dealerships across the nation. For 2009, Indian will offer four distinct Chief models, including the Chief Standard, Chief Deluxe, Chief Roadmaster and Chief Vintage with base prices ranging from $30,999 to $35,499 respectively.
