Indian Other description

Being offered for your consideration is a NICELY RESTORED, extremely hard to find, 1971 “Indian” ME-125 Motorcycle with ONLY 671 MILES on the odometer.

The bike has been thoroughly gone through professionally, inspected, and serviced by K&R Cycles of Nicholas, New York. The bike starts, runs, drives and stops as it should, and needs nothing except for a new owner. The bike comes with a clear, transferable New York registration, along with copies of the parts, service and owner’s manual, (see pictures.)

These “Indian” 125cc Street Enduros are seldom, if ever found, being offered for sale. These highly sought after little “Indian”125cc's are known for their trophy winning performance and were consistent winners in the 1970’s. This bike, being in great shape, will only increase in value. The “125” is considered by many collectors as the “holy grail” of Indian dirt bikes. A collector’s dream.

The bike is being sold as is, where is, with no guarantees stated or implied. There are no refunds on this item. ALL SELLS ARE FINAL. Any and all shipping costs will be the sole responsibility of the winning bidder; however, I will be available at the time of pickup to assist.

This bike auction may be ended at any time due to the bike being offered locally.

A $500.00 “NON-REFUNDABLE” deposit through PayPal is required within 48 hours of the end of auction, and the bike must be picked up within 14 days of end of auction unless arrangements have been made with the owner prior to the end of sale.

Indian introduces new PowerPlus engine

Wed, 20 Nov 2019

The apparatus with a 60-degree camber of the cylinder block can hardly be called the little brother of the 1811cc Thunder Stroke 111 engine - its capacity is 1769cc, but in terms of design solutions, the motors are fundamentally different. Let's start with the fact that, according to the manufacturer, the new engine is the most powerful in its class - it develops 121hp at 5500rpm and 178 Nm at 3800 rpm. PowerPlus, like the Scout motor, has an overhead camshaft, is equipped with four valves per cylinder and hydraulic compensators, eliminating the need to adjust clearances, the cooling is liquid.
