This Indian Scout was restored 30 years ago and then put on display in an auto museum for much of that time. It was recently taken out from the museum and given a service and started. The bike runs, has plenty of compression and sounds great. The bike is very original and has always been one bike and not made up with collected parts. I have owned the bike for 32 years. The motor was completely rebuilt in the restoration. The gearbox and primary drive were rebuilt with new bearings and bushings but the gears and shafts are original. The clutch plates are original. Note the brass plate riveted on the tool box showing the bike was sold by Indian dealer John King and Sons in Brisbane St Launceston. The incorrect parts that I know of are the battery box, generator belt cover, rear tail light (1928 HD) and the head lamp. Please look at the photos and ask any questions. Piaggio Slashes Vespa LX125 Prices in India to Bolster Slow Sales

The Vespa LX125 launched in Indian showrooms in April as the first new Vespa scooter offered in the country in 13 years, but Piaggio has only sold about 25,000 units. That might seem like a lot, and would be, for the U.S.
