2007 KTM Exc 525, Renthal fat bars, Acerbis bark busters, Skid plate, New KTM stealth sprockets, New EK gold O-ring chain, New tires (have about 100 miles on them), JD jet kit (proper jets already installed), Newer style headlight and front fender (still have originals), Dirt Tricks domed countershaft washer, KTM cooling fan, Heavier progressive rear spring (still have original), New TwinAir air filter, Replaced the big bulky license plate holder with smaller KTM unit, Smaller folding mirrors. The bad: The front turn signals work, but the rubber on them is dry rotted. Other than that, there is nothing wrong with this bike. ***** Brand new Acerbis 6.6 gallon tank. Still new in the box.***** I even have an extra petcock so I wouldn't have to take the one off of the stock tank if you switch them out. The tank is $350 from a dealer. KTM E-Speed Electric Scooter Concept Revealed in Tokyo
Fri, 22 Mar 2013KTM unveiled a new electric scooter concept at the 2013 Tokyo Motorcycle Show called the E-Speed. The E-Speed is the second electric model from KTM, following the Freeride E dirtbike. The E-Speed actually shares the same electric battery and motor technology as the Freeride E, but repurposed for urban mobility.
2014 KTM 450 Rally Replica Announced
Thu, 20 Feb 2014KTM announced it will offer an official replica production version of its Dakar-winning 450 Rally bike. Marc Coma rode the 450 Rally for his fourth Dakar victory and 13th in a row for KTM in January, finishing nearly two hours faster than any other motorcycle entrant. The 2014 KTM 450 Rally Replica will be available for purchase later this year for €24,000 (US$32,881) for privateer racers or anyone else who wants to own their own rally bike.
2014 KTM 1190 Adventure Introduces Motorcycle Stability Control Technology
Tue, 24 Sep 2013KTM unveiled the 2014 versions of the 1190 Adventure and 1190 Adventure R, along with a new rider assist system it calls Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC). Developed with anti-lock brake system manufacturer Bosch, MSC applies combined-ABS and traction control even when leaned over into a curve. Sensors gather data on various parameters including wheel speed, lean angle, pitch angle, acceleration and braking pressure.
