The 2015 KTM Super Duke 1290 R is a Sport Style Motorcycle equipped with
an 1301cc, Liquid Cooled, V Twin, DOHC, 4-Stroke Engine and a 6-Speed
Manual Transmission.
It has a Inverted Fork Front Suspension while the Rear Suspension consists of a Single Sided Swing Arm. The Super Duke 1290 R has Front Dual Disc Brakes and Rear Disc Brakes. The Super Duke 1290 R weighs 417 lbs. and has 5.5 inches of ground clearance. The Super Duke 1290 R was introduced in 2014. It includes a 12 month Limited warranty. Mon, 06 Sep 2010It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.

Mon, 07 May 2012Ryan Dungey scored his fourth win of the season but it was not enough to take second place in the points race behind champion Ryan Villopoto. That honor went to JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps who placed second to Dungey in the season-ending race at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Dungey took the holeshot and led every lap to take the win for Red Bull KTM.

KTM knows a lot not only about tourenduro or supermoto - in its history there was an unforgettable sportbike 1190 RC8, and now there is a nimble “shorty” RC390. Each RC390R features a fully adjustable WP suspension, a different handlebar for a more racing fit, folding clutch and brake levers, and a modified engine intake tract.
