Here we have a 2008 KTM 450 SX dirt bike. It is in "like new" condition. I am asking $4,000/Or Best Offer. It has a freshly built top end with less than ten hours on it. I have all receipts of the work and a clean title in hand. The bike has almost no scratches on it, aside from the normal boot wear against the frame. The bike has automatic start and fires right up with no issues (no leaks, knocks or ticks). The Brembo brakes are in amazing shape and the discs are pretty smooth with no divits. The tires have 90% tread left and have no issues. This bike has been garage kept since new and well maintained, including fresh oil in it. KTM RC8R: The first month
Thu, 24 May 2012First impressions are everything so the gearbox niggles on the first RC8s meant I didn’t become an instant fan. There was never a problem for normal road riding but when the pace was increased on track days false neutrals were found and gears were missed. Ironically I might have been able to help here as KTM signed me up for pre-production shakedown testing before I got sidelined with appendicitis.
Chris Fillmore Returning To KTM AMA Superbike For 2014
Mon, 09 Dec 2013KTM Motorsports and Chris Fillmore have agreed to terms that will see the former supermoto ace return to the KTM/HMC Superbike Racing team for his third consecutive season. Fillmore, who started racing with KTM on its supermoto Team in the early 2000’s, began testing the RC8 superbike in 2008. Since that time he has piloted the bike in its first-ever AMA Pro SuperBike race and gone on to run two full-time seasons in that series with a career best finish of fourth overall.
