This auction is for a used KTM 50 SX LC. This is a 50cc liquid cooled 2-stroke youth motocross / off road bike. It is sized for kids in the 7-8 range (though obviously this depends on size and skill). It has an automatic (clutchless) transmission like a scooter, and is simply twist and go. Good power and light weight. Front and rear disc brakes.
The bike is used but in very good mechanical condition. I purchased it used from a dealer in the greater Boston area last year for my son (I'll include paperwork with the bike). The dealer did a complete overhaul including: new top end, new rear tire, new chain, new fuel petcock, clutch adjustment, new plastic. The bike is in great shape and is ready to ride. Kept indoors. Sadly my son rode it only once. Included is a complete owner's manual, engine manual, and my paperwork documenting my purchase from the dealer on 12/22/15. If you use the Buy it now option, I'll include free a nearly complete set of youth motocross gear (Fox boots - size youth 4 / EU 36, Fox elbow pads, Fox goggles, Fox chest protector, Fox pants, Fox gloves and an Alipnestars duffle bag) all purchased new and in pristine condition - again used only once :( If you don't use buy it now, the winning bidder will have the option to purchase this gear for $125. Top Gear Live to Attempt “Deadly 720″ Double Loop-the-Loop on KTM 250 SX-F
Tue, 23 Oct 2012Automotive program “Top Gear” and KTM are teaming up to attempt the world’s first double loop-the-loop on a motorcycle. The stunt, using a 2013 KTM 250 SX-F, follows a similar stunt “Top Gear” completed from June called the “Deadly 720” that saw a successful double loop-the-loop in a car in Durban, South Africa, a first for a four-wheeled vehicle recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records (look for the video after the jump.) The attempt at a two-wheeled Deadly 720 will take place as part of the Top Gear Live show, Oct. 25-28 in Birmingham, U.K.

Riding that wave of success, KTM appears ready give its adventure-tourer a significant upgrade that may give it the edge over the GS for next year’s MOBO awards. A new spy photo snapped on the set of a video shoot in Monaco by mentounasc, a member of the KTMMania.net forum, reveals a redesigned fairing and new badging identifying a motorcycle as a KTM 1290 Super Adventure.

After being purchased by the Malenotti family in 2012, the brand is now going through a revival.
