KTM SX tech info
KTM SX description
2011 KTM SX 65, Factory technology in miniature: an absolutely fully-fledged sports machine and pretty much an adult bike, unlike the other bikes in this class. Designed for up-and-coming riders from about 8 to 12 years and up to a height of 160cm. And just like the grown-up KTMs, the 65 SX also defines the benchmark in terms of performance, handling, standard equipment and workmanship.
A powerhouse : The 65 SX engine
At the forefront of two-stroke technology, this engine shows its brute force at all speeds, always responds readily to the throttle and handles perfectly. It is completely water-cooled including the crankcase, withstanding even the toughest of dogfights. The revolutionary engine design with the crankshaft positioned close to the centre of gravity not only allows perfect handling of your 65 SX but optimises the intake flow in the crankcase. The patented KTM pressure-control led exhaust valve (PCEV) and re-engineered out let slide give you the edge in terms of power. On top of this, the new strengthened crankcase can handle even the largest jumps with ease, Ensuring that you always finish first .

The North East,Prescott and fast laps with Chris Walker at Mallory
Thu, 26 Apr 2012A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.
