Retro Mod bike with lots of custom items.  Yamaha front end, Suzuki rear end, Custom set backs, exhaust chambers and new Makuni 38mmj flat slide carbs. With a nickname like The Green Hell, the Nurburgring Nordschleife is nearly 13 miles of terror wrapped up in a historic race track. Famous for its sheer length, close confines, and the fact it is open to the public most the year, the Nurburgring has a dual reputation as a great testing facility and a widow maker – certain reports estimate as many as 12 deaths a year here. To lap here in under 10 minutes is considered a fast lap.

The transforming Kawasaki J Concept was one of the highlights of the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, thanks to its futuristic styling that was like a cross between a Tron Lightcycle and the Batpod from Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy. The electric three-wheeler is unlikely to enter full production, but it is nice to see some outrageous concept models again. The J Concept was primarily produced to showcase Kawasaki‘s GIGACELL high-capacity nickel-metal hydride battery technology, but the most dramatic feature is the concept’s ability to transform.

2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Recalled for Engine Stalling Issues

Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 because of a risk of the engine stalling during deceleration. No recall has yet been posted for the U.S. though the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, though members of the KawasakiNinja300 forum report they received letters from Kawasaki Motor Corps.
