Kawasaki KLR description

2005 Kawasaki Klr 650, 2005 Kawasaki KLR650 A-19 (Team Green), located in Walnut Creek, CA. 33,980 miles. This bike has had one owner, adult owned, has been well loved and maintained regularly since I bought it new. The valve clearances have been regularly checked and adjusted at many KLR Tech Days. I'm really sad to have to sell it, but I don't ride it very often at the moment and I need the money more than the bike. It was a commuter bike and has never been on anything besides asphalt, it's never seen dirt. The doohickey (Eagle Mike) was done in the first 500 miles. - New Battery (Cycle Gear Battery with Lifetime Warranty) - Eagle Mike Fork Brace - IMS Pro Series Pegs - Reservoir Guard - IMS Shifter - Highway True Wheels - New Bridgestone Battleaxe Tires - Acerbis Rally Pro Hand Guards - K&N Air Filter - SE Steel Handlebars - 16T Front Sprocket - Mirror Vibration Dampeners - Eagle Mike Doohickey - Original Seat (basically brand new - barely ridden on) and Corbin seat Also Included: - Craftsman Hydraulic Floor Jack - Shoei Neotec Helmet (XL) that has been worn all of 2 times. This helmet was bought new at Cycle Gear and retailed for around $700 at the time. It has never been dropped, in an accident, and is basically brand new. The right passenger footpeg is broken (not dangling or anything and it still goes up to stay out of the way), and there is a crack/hole in the cowling as well as the grill on the cowling (same part). The wind screen is missing. Otherwise it's in great shape. I have some other gear available as well if you're interested (cold weather and warm weather gear). $2400 OBO. Please E-MAIL or TEXT. I will not answer phone calls from numbers I do not know, so text or email is best. $2,400.00 5105011559

The Japanese fantasized about the new Kawasaki Ninja 250

Sun, 25 Dec 2016

The small sportbike was last updated in 2013, but the next update is just around the corner. The Japanese magazine Young Machine has published a hypothetical (or, who knows, very likely) image of the new generation Kawasaki Ninja 250, which will appear at the end of next year or in 2018. The render is intriguing: according to it, the younger “ninja” can get a “birdcage” frame and a “changeling” fork.

ABS Option Coming for 2014 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Classic, Nomad and Vaquero

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

Anti-lock brake technology has become fairly commonplace for motorcycles now, and it sometimes comes as a bit of a surprise when a major manufacturer does not offer ABS as an option on certain models. The European Parliament making ABS mandatory by 2016 has helped push things along, as manufacturers work to equip their models with the technology ahead of the deadline, not just for the European market but also for other markets including the U.S. New documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal Kawasaki will offer an ABS version for its 2014 Vulcan 1700 cruisers and tourers for American consumers.

The name Matt Cuddy should need no introduction to Motorcycle.com readers. Not only does he have more than 5,000 posts on our forum, he’s also written dirt bike tests for us, including the 2010 and 2011 Kawasaki KX450F reviews. Making this accomplishment more noteworthy is the fact that Matt is a paraplegic – he was hit by a car several years ago while riding his motorcycle.
