2009 Kawasaki KLX140, Lightly used, clean - Defying the small-bike rulebook with big-bike capabilities Off-road riders and mini moto enthusiasts don’t have to settle for simple one-size machines with limited performance and cramped ergonomics. Kawasaki’s KLX 140 dirt bike with its 17 inch front and 14 inch rear wheels has opened the door for a wider variety of riders in the small displacement off-road arena. More advanced or longer-limbed riders can turn to its sibling, the larger 19 inch front and 16 inch rear-wheeled KLX140L. Both 140s are designed to be beginner and novice friendly, yet offer a roomy layout and enough performance to suit more-advanced riders.

WSBK: 2012 Miller Results
Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Steam Punk Bike
Wed, 19 Jan 2011This steam-punk inspired bike is the work of LA based sculptor and, er, free thinker, Baron Margo. From what we can work out is uses an early eighties air-cooled Z1000 Kawasaki as a base and is cloaked in this hand beaten alloy and copper bodywork. Can’t imagine it’s much fun in a cross wind, though.
Motorcycle Results From The 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Mon, 01 Jul 2013The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.
