Kawasaki KLX description

I'VE LOWERED THE RESERVE! PREVIOUS BUYER NEVER SHOWED UP, NEVER PAID. :(

This 2010 Kawasaki KLX 250s is in great shape and gets spectacular gas mileage!

We bought this bike for my wife and she absolutely loved it.  It's actually been hard to convince her to sell it but we have to.  We're in the process of selling everything, (big stuff) and buying a sailboat.

We are the original owners and we've taken great care of this bike.  It's been garage kept when we weren't on an adventure, oil and filters have been changed regularly and we had a gas tank gromet replaced that was some factory re-call last year.  It wasn't anything that ever gave us an issue but it must have on a few other 2010's.

One of the first things we did was add a larger skid plate to protect the engine and we added the handgaurds and the rear rack as well.  The custom seat is dished so she could have better control of the bike in the dirt with a lower center of gravity and it offers more surface area for your butt to rest on = more confort.

These bikes have a lot of options for upgrades and we bought it for it's weight and versatility.  We sold both of our other Kawasaki KLR 650's so this is the last one to go. :(

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

2014 WSBK – Laguna Seca Results

Mon, 14 Jul 2014

Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.
